Straight Talk is B*llshit

At the office, there are a few younger straight men from our batch that is driving the hell out of me. Everytime they talk, it seems that nothing comes out but bullshit, crap and loads of more of shit.

These younger straight guys talk like they're the most masculine of men, when in fact I look more masculine than they do. In the gay porn industry, they're sort of the twink types. What bugs me the most is how they talk. Take note, how and not what they talk about. The reason being is that the word 'pre short for pare becomes a prefix and suffix for all the words they utter.

To give you an example, here is how they talk:

'Pre, alam mo ba tong ganito 'pre?

Solid 'pre, chicks na chicks 'pre!

Gutom na ko 'pre, kain tayo 'pre.

Gwapo mo 'pre, pakiss nga 'pre.

The last one's not true. lol.

To make it sound more annoying is the emphasis they put on the 'pre. Just like how Kuya Dick would say 'pre when he's on his paminta roles.

I am not sure if they're trying to sound more masculine or whatever it is they want to convey, but it sounds so pretentious and unrealistic for me. What's more annoying is how boisterous they are, like kids from college who wants to prove that they fit into the adult world. I am not sure if this is due to their youth or they are just plain annoying.

I have straight guy friends but when we talk, or I hear them talk, they never make it sound like they way these guys at the office do. They are never boisterous and they never emphasize on 'pre that much.

I am never comfortable with pare, because I use 'tol all the time when addressing my straight friends, male of female. For these guys at the office, all I can say is they make straight talk bullshit.
